Newron Sport Skate Demo that I received!

I received a demo pair of inline skates from Newron Sports I haven't gotten to try them out yet.

They have a different sort of breaking system. Rather than a heal brake that is dragged on the ground to slow, it has a brake that is in between the wheel and the frame and has weight is applied, it slows the wheel.

Okay, I've got to learn how to travel on wheels. Skating, bicycling. How can one deal with the fear of falling?

It's nice getting demo stuff in the mail. Hope they're fun. -C

Start out slowly - focus on controlling speed and direction of movement. Also teach yourself how to fall.
For example, on inline skates you should always move your heads in front when stopping and in some other situations such that if you do fall you fall forward, on your hands and knees. (The assumption is that you have all the protective gear on too. Helmet, wrist, knee and maybe even elbow pads)

Protective gear is VERY important.

Skating is a great calorie burner!
