I have an 18 year old cat. She is blind but is doing fine, otherwise, except for some occasional incontinence. It is sad when a friend you have had for so long gets so ill.
Thanks for the nice things you had to say about my blog!
She moves around slowly now, and I suspect she compensates with her whiskers and her sense of smell and hearing. We also try not to rearrange the furnishings very often.
You can see her cateracts when you look at her eyes. I doubt she can see at all. She sleeps a great deal, nowadays.
I'm a software engineer and the rest of the time, I'm a poet, writer, volunteer, blogger, and playing on my iPhone. I currently have nearly 700 poems. I enjoy outdoor activities like inline skating, biking, skiing (especially cross country) and hiking.
I have 4 cats all of them are litter mates - found homeless, feral around 5 weeks old by a volunteer at a cat shelter.

Blind? really? Completely blind? How does she get around?
