Great Tools for your blog or website.

Tia over at Fantasy Debut has offered some great points on tools for writers and bloggers. (While you're at it, check out Tia's writing blog.)

Like Google Analytics to monitor traffic to your site. She does an excellent job explaining it so I won't repeat it.

Be sure to read the comments because Mulluane of Dragons Heroes and Wizards also provided some great suggestions.

Thanks, Lisa. I missed my calling as a technical writer, I think.

Maybe you had two callings then - Technical Writer AND FICTIONAL writer!

Hey, Lisa!

Blogger told me back in August that I'm a spammer. They've been ignoring my requests ever since to review the situation. Earlier in the week, they locked me out of my blog and are threatening to delete it entirely. All because they keep ignoring my requests (made through the proper channels) to rectify the situation.

*sigh*

Ain't life grand?

Anyway, thanks for visiting my new home. I'm going to have to keep an eye on you -- looks like you blog about cool stuff. Like books and writing and skating (I used to play ice hockey) and cats and chocolate...

Hi Susan. THanks for visiting. I'm sorry to hear what Blogger has been putting you through. I wonder how they managed to even put your name on the spam list. Shame, can't they just look at your blog and see it isn't spam!

Do you want me to try to email blogger. From a 'customer' stand point, it's upsetting to see someone treated this way because it could well have been more, or might be next! We come to rely on our blogging tools and the idea of being locked out of a blog . . .

Yes, I do have a near anything goes blog - versus maintaining multiple blogs.
With other web fronts like: Facebook, GoodRead, LinkedIn, Plaxo . . . need to draw the line somewhere!
Do you have an iPhone? They're the best inventions!
